Belle McGhee
Interpreter Coordinator & American Sign Language Interpreter
Belle McGhee is a nationally trained American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter and serves as the Interpreter Coordinator for Little Creek Behavioral Health in Conway, Arkansas. Since joining Little Creek, she has worked to ensure effective communication access for Deaf and hard-of-hearing residents by coordinating interpreting services and providing direct interpreting support across a variety of clinical and behavioral health settings.
A graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s Interpreter Education Program, Belle has experience in medical, educational, vocational, video relay, DeafBlind, and behavioral health environments. She has also completed specialized Mental Health Interpreter Training, further strengthening her ability to support communication within psychiatric and therapeutic settings.
As a Child of Deaf Adults (CODA), Belle brings both professional expertise and a lifelong understanding of Deaf culture and communication. Her commitment to accessibility, cultural awareness, and person-centered care helps ensure that Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals receive equitable access to services and support.
Belle is dedicated to fostering effective communication between residents, staff, families, and treatment providers, helping create an inclusive environment where every individual has the opportunity to fully participate in their care.
